3D Printing Services

TCPoly offers end-to-end prototyping services to help you design and print custom parts for evaluation. Our rapid prototyping capabilities allow you to explore the benefits of thermally conductive plastics at a fraction of the cost and lead time required by traditional manufacturers. With a fleet of over 15 high-speed filament-fed printers, large-format systems, and desktop pellet-fed 3D printers, we can deliver functional parts in as little as one week. Our facility is equipped to process the full range of TCPoly materials, including our high-performance Ice9 Max products available exclusively in pellet form. For customers requiring production-scale quantities, TCPoly has partnered with Slant3D to qualify Ice9 filament for distributed, high-volume manufacturing—ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to full-scale production.

Vapor Smoothing Services

TCPoly has qualified both our Ice9 TPU and Ice9 Nylon product lines on the AMT PostPro vapor smoothing system. This capability allows us to create thermally conductive parts with sealed surfaces that are leak free for applications like liquid cold plates and heat exchangers. Smoothing also improves the parts mechanical properties and surface quality, providing an injection molded like product without the tooling and molding.

Injection Molding Services

TCPoly has partnered with the Polymers Center to support molding development for our customers, offering access to advanced injection molding capabilities tailored for material evaluation and short-run production. The Polymers Center operates three injection molding machines—two 55-ton presses and one 90-ton press—featuring hydraulic, hybrid, and all-electric configurations capable of processing a wide range of plastics, including high-performance grades requiring mold temperatures up to 220°F. This partnership enables TCPoly customers to produce ASTM test specimens or custom parts using either customer-supplied molds or in-house options, such as a variable-thickness 2″x3″ plaque mold or a multi-cavity ASTM family mold (Tensile, Flex, and Gardner Impact). This collaboration ensures flexible, expert-driven support for tooling trials, product development, and material validation.
